The day-to-day running of the Association is under the executive control of the Committee. The Committee consists of a President, Secretary, Treasurer and members of the Association who are elected at the Annual General Meeting for a two year term. Committee members are responsible for a particular portfolio and meet regularly to perform the duties of the Association, which are outlined in the Constitution.

Matthew Norton was appointed as President at the 2015 Annual General Meeting. Matthew is an ex-AFL and current running League Goal Umpire. Matthew looks forward to providing a renewed focus and direction for the Association.
Meet your Committee
Sean, a League Boundary Umpire, joins the Committee for the first time in 2016. Sean has since been elevated to the AFL Boundary Umpires list in South Australia. Working as a Charted Accountant he is well equipped for managing this portfolio.
Andrew arrived at the SANFL in 2005 and enters his sixth year serving on the Committee. A Teacher by occupation, Andrew has previous experience managing the Membership and Communication portfolios and is well equipped in the role of Secretary.
Chris, a League Field Umpire joined the Committee in 2014 and will continue managing the Social and Events portfolio for Season 2016. A teacher by occupation, Chris looks forward to working with the Committee to deliver a dynamic social calendar for the season ahead.
David, a League Field Umpire will take hold of the Sponsorship portfolio for 2017. The commitment David shows on and off the field will greatly benefit the committee and its members. He will continue to build upon and secure new sponsorship for the Association and help deliver increased benefits to our members.

Matthew, a League Goal Umpire, joins the Committee for the first time in 2017. A member of SANFLUA since beginning with the SANFL in 2006, Matthew brings umpiring experience and fresh ideas to the committee. He will oversee the website and also manage our social media platforms.
Abdul, a current SANFL Goal Umpires Coach has served on the Committee for the past 11 years. He has held a variety of portfolios including Membership and Property and has 18 years of experience at the SANFL.
Mathew is an experienced League Goal Umpire who joins the Committee for the first time in 2017. He will be responsible for the production of a regular digital Ball Up publication and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in umpiring.
Craig will be our mouth piece between the committee and our life members. Craig has extensive experience with the Association, having previously been in charge of the Treasurer Portfolio.
Aaron, an up and coming League Field Umpire, also joins the Committee for the first time in 2017. He will be responsible for the day to day communications between members and the SANFLUA Committee via firstname.lastname@example.org
